DOKU.ARTS at Zeughauskino
After three years as a guest at the Filmmuseum Amsterdam, we are very glad to announce the return of DOKU.ARTS to Berlin in 2012.
Under the title, "Process and Memory", DOKU.ARTS presents a unique film series in Europe from September 19 to October 14, 2012. In 30 documentaries, the creative process of film directors, visual artists, dancers, musicians and architects comes to life.
The DOKU.ARTS program is selected to represent the diversity of the documentary genre and the range of experimental approaches of contemporary filmmakers. From the long-term observation, the compilation film, to the essay and homage, DOKU.ARTS presents the richness of contemporary documentary.
One of the highlights this year is the series of Brazilian films on art, which DOKU.ARTS presents in collaboration with the Instituto Moreira Salles in Rio de Janeiro. The complete program includes 17 German and 10 Berlin premieres.
